Registration opens on Tuesday, 23 September 2025
- Interpreters: Participants will be admitted as long as there are still places available.
- External composers: As part of the application, candidates are required to submit two to three scores written for the instrumentation specified below (either complete or in partial formation). Submissions for other instrumentations cannot be considered. All scores must have been composed within the past two years. A jury will evaluate the submitted works and notify applicants of the outcome by the end of November 2025.
Instrumentation:
Flute, clarinet, violin, viola, violoncello, piano, percussion
- In the event of a successful application, the composition of a new work for the Dissolution Ensemble is expressly required. This work will be rehearsed during the Academy and, where possible, given its premiere. From the instrumentation listed above, all combinations from solo up to quartet are available. The specific scoring of the new work must be agreed in advance with the Project Head for Composition, Daniella Gerszt.
- Internal composers: When registering, two to three scores for flexible instrumentation must be submitted. The works should not exceed approximately 10 minutes in duration.

Students of the Hochschule Luzern – Musik receive three credit points for attendance, outside students can apply for credit points at their respective institutions, proof of attendance will be provided. No ECTS credits are awarded for passive participation.
