Elective Composition A course that develops students' personal musical language

The students take part in master classes, composition workshops and boundary-crossing ensemble projects. They are challenged and inspired by composers during their unique creative process.

What you expect

Students in the Bachelor of Arts in Music with the elective Composition have a double main subject.

They receive lessons in composition and in the instrumental/vocal subject of their choice in the jazz or folk music profile. Depending on the chosen profile, students also participate in classical or jazz ensembles. The Bachelor of Arts in Music, major in composition serves for entry into the Master of Arts in Music, Major Composition.
