Students and employees of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts: "hslu"
Students and employees of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts select the “hslu” network and sign in using their HSLU user account (hslu e-mail address). You will get automatic access to all e-media licensed to the HSLU campus network.
Students and members of other universities: “eduroam”
Students and members of other universities use the “eduroam” network, provided their home institution provides access to this service. Learn more here.
Campus guests: “public”
Campus guests log in using the "public" network and authenticate the connection via text message (
MAC /
Windows).
Users without own device
If you did not bring your own device, you may borrow our zhb notebook from the information desk. You can use it, among other things, for your literature search, to create documents, or for reference management.
Requirement to borrow and use (
terms of use) the device:
- a valid library card
Loan period: One day (during the library's opening hours, to be used on-site only, must be returned until 15 minutes before the library closes).
VPN (Virtual Private Network)
The VPN provides remote access to all E-Resources licensed to the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts for HSLU studends and members.
On the site of our E-Resources department you will find some instructions on how to install and use the VPN.
