What is it about?
- Investigating how subcutaneously injected drug formulations distribute in tissue and which factors influence this distribution.
- This is intended to support data-driven design decisions, reproducible product performance, and regulatory robustness.
Projekt objective:
The aim of the project is the systematic identification, evaluation, and exemplary testing of suitable in vitro methods for reliably visualizing and quantifying fluid distribution after subcutaneous injection in tissue-mimetic models under realistic laboratory conditions.
In this thesis:
- you will develop and test tissue-mimetic models (e.g., hydrogels) for simulating subcutaneous tissue structures
- you will investigate the distribution of model formulations after injection into artificial tissue
- you will develop methods for visualizing and quantifying fluid distribution
- combine laboratory work with digital image analysis and data evaluation
