Analysis Laboratory

The Thermal Energy Systems and Process Engineering Competence Centre has a wide range of state-of-the-art equipment at its disposal in the analysis laboratory, which allows it to conduct measurement series professionally and provide advice on analysis methods.

Luci Computer Tomograph

On the Luci computer tomograph, non-destructive cross-sectional images are measured through an object. While the object rotates around a fixed axis, X-ray images are taken in small angular steps. The sectional views allow conclusions about the material and its density.

Rapid Prototyping

With the 3D printers at the Mechanical Systems Competence Centre, «Rapid Prototyping» becomes a reality: products and devices can be produced faster, ideas can be realised at the touch of a button, and functional samples can be created inexpensively.
