SmartNIALMeter

Load breakdown in households using NIALM (Non-Intrusive Appliance Load Monitoring) based on smart meter data

Forschungsprojekt SmartNIALMeter

The authors of various studies demonstrate a potential for energy saving if energy consumption is displayed to people as directly and in as much detail as possible. The aim of this project is to test the electrical energy saving potential by showing the energy consumption broken down by some important appliances.

For this purpose we apply the methods of Non-Intrusive Appliance Load Monitoring (NIALM).
