Master's-Students and Master's-Assistants

We are constantly looking for Master's-Students and Master's-Assistants

As a Master's student, you will be mentored by our lecturers in the fields of Sensor Technology, AAL & Socio-Technical Systems, Smart Energy in Buildings, IoT (+Security +Low Energy Systems) and Digital Twin & MBE in order to obtain a Master's degree in the profile Electrical Engineering, Data Science or Business Engineering.

By arrangement, you will work part-time as a master's assistant on challenging research projects at the iHomeLab. These stem from the field of energy efficiency enhancement (Smart Energy Management) in buildings or from technologies that improve the quality of life of elderly people (Active Assisted Living). 


Your profile: You have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or business informatics or in related technical fields.

Open Position for Swiss Civil Service (Zivildienst)

The Community Service assignments at the iHomeLab include projects to improve energy efficiency (Smart Energy Management) in buildings or technologies that improve the quality of life of older people (Active Assisted Living).

After familiarisation, you will usually work independently on one of our research projects.

The assignments include a training period, the main project phase, which consists of the elements: Requirements, architecture, implementation and test, as well as the documentation and final phase.

Necessary knowledge: You have or will soon complete a degree in electrical engineering or computer science from a Swiss tertiary institution  and very good german skills.
