According to the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE), buildings account for around two-fifths of Switzerland’s energy consumption. This represents an enormous potential for savings. Increasing the energy efficiency of buildings not only creates greater comfort for people but also helps to protect systems and reduce costs. The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts offers a wide range of continuing and executive education programs around energy in buildings. At the same time, we look beyond individual buildings to consider the heating of entire neighborhoods and cities.
