Selected continuing education programs

CAS in Circular Construction

The linear construction industry is the largest consumer of planetary raw materials. A new building emits more greenhouse gases during its construction phase than during its 60 years of operation. In the CAS Circular Construction course, participants learn how to close the loops in the construction industry.

CAS in Photovoltaics

In the CAS Photovoltaics course, participants build in-depth basic knowledge about photovoltaic systems, from the initial idea to the turnkey PV system. Advantages and disadvantages are examined from a technical, economic, political, and legal perspective. Opportunities for optimizing self-consumption and the production of your own colored PV module round off the course.

CAS in Renovation of Existing Buildings

Renovating buildings in a way that preserves their value and is sustainable is the most extensive task facing the construction industry in the future. The CAS Renovation of Existing Buildings course teaches participants techniques and methods for appropriate and sustainable building renovation. The course teaches participants to take a differentiated approach to renovation and extension work.

Digitalization offers enormous opportunities for the construction and real estate industries. The focus is on increasing productivity and sustainability aspects. Our CAS programs in Digital Construction enable participants to drive this development forward.

CAS in Sustainable Construction / MAS in Sustainable Construction

You will learn to evaluate sustainable construction and apply your knowledge expertly apply your knowledge in the relevant context. As a builder, planner, or public authority, you will be familiar with the sustainability requirements for all phases of a building's life cycle and be able to ask the right questions of your business partners. May be extended to a MAS in sustainable construction.
