The bright colours, elaborate patterns, craft techniques and ubiquitous presence in Guatemala of hand-woven “huipils” (long, loose-fitting tunics) are an endless source of fascination – and here, the qualities of these traditional tops are reinterpreted and transformed for our own cultural circles. The design collection consists of unique handmade items for gladly playful yet simultaneously cool and self-assured women who like to use conspicuous fashion to express their fascination with foreign cultures.
