Haptic qualities allow us to get to know a surface in a way no purely optical approach ever can. Visual effects nonetheless continue to occupy a prime position in fashion and textiles today. Inspired by blind people’s heightened tactile sense, this knitwear collection combines the worlds of sight and touch. By encoding colours and materials it becomes possible to grasp a sense of each garment: every colour, a material, every material, a technique, every combination, a different haptic experience.
