What You’ll Learn
During your studies, you’ll develop fundamental design skills: You’ll learn to critically analyze space, precisely represent and communicate spatial ideas, and design and implement physical and digital spaces. The focus is always on how people perceive, experience, and use spaces.
Hands-on practice plays a central role: In our workshops, you’ll work seamlessly with tactile materials, analog craftsmanship, and digital tools.
How we work
We consciously embrace the freedom and critical mindset of an art college. At the same time, we’re deeply rooted in real-world practice: We regularly collaborate with cities, municipalities, agencies, and partners from the cultural and business sectors.Through a diverse team of faculty and guest speakers, we ensure that your projects do not remain confined to the theoretical realm but maintain a direct connection to the real world.
Where this will take you
The program gives you the opportunity to explore different facets of spatial design, deepen your interests, and develop your own creative approach. It’s not just about how you design, but also why—and what responsibility you take on in doing so.
You’ll discover where your strengths and interests lie and chart your own path: as a foundation for a wide range of careers in design firms, culture, business, or public institutions.
