Rapid developments in data and AI technologies are creating entirely new job profiles or reshuffling existing ones from the bottom up. This dynamic shift calls for close cooperation between industry and academia.
bydo stands for a new form of cooperation between education and practice.
bydo enables students to develop and hone their skills directly in real and challenging business projects over extended periods. By working together on specific projects, students acquire and deepen not only their technical knowledge but also acquire essential soft skills while working in teams, solving problems and communicating with various stakeholders.
bydo differs from traditional forms of knowledge transfer in that students learn directly in particular applied project settings. Projects thus cease to be mere practice sessions and instead turn into live venues for learning where the education partner supports project teams and actively coaches them.
Project-based learning is organised into “learning boxes” where each learning box assigns a clear role to the participants:
– The project partners provide the challenge and physical resources and manage the project.
– The students contribute their talent, creativity and work.
– The coaches guide the students through the content and develop the skills in the teams.
– The education partners include the bydo concept in their programmes and assess students’ academic achievements.

- Once you've been accepted, you'll be given access to your digital learning journal. It contains everything you need to know about your Learning Box: team members, Learning Coach, challenge details and business partner.
