The works of our students speak to the diversity of drafting and manufacturing techniques and to the original designs, independent collections, exploratory experiments and specific applications.
The repeat is the great art of textile design. How is the repetition of a pattern brought into and onto the surface?
Surface-forming techniques and circularity are the topics in the second semester.
Experimentation as the starting point of the design process: the students look for inspiration from foreign fields. Always with the aim of interweaving craft and digital.
In the second year, we design and realise textiles in fictitious and concrete application contexts up to the creation of a collection and explore what local production means.
The students send a message to society with their textiles. They practise thinking and working in synergies with different disciplines.
In the bachelor projects students showcase and put to the test their newly acquired theoretical and practical design skills.
