ILIAS is a comprehensive learning platform and venue for digital teaching and learning activities from enhanced in-person classes to stand-alone online courses. It provides centralised access to virtual teaching for students and lecturers alike.
The ZLLF assures the technical and didactic quality of ILIAS at the HSLU. It manages the learning platform, offers in-house trainings and advice to representatives of the HSLU’s Schools and degree programmes. The platform boasts a wide range of features that facilitate teaching, learning and research. Among other things, it can be used to schedule online consultations or create interactive videos and smartphone-based live polls and surveys.
ILIAS is an open-source software carried and continually improved by a wide community of university-level institutions, companies and other actors. The HSLU is part of this community: our experts at the ZLLF take an active part in shaping the software.
