Demonstration of innovative and architectural photovoltaic facades

For a mainson at Lake Lucerne innovative and multifunctional photovoltaic facades are being developed and demonstrated.

Overview

The objective of this project is to realise a pilot & demonstration project, showcasing innovative and architectural application of photovoltaics in facades of historic buildings. This includes the development of architectural concepts considering heritage aspects, application of innovative photovoltaic and facade technologies for the development of functional prototypes, and their installation, testbedding and demonstration at a selected historic building. Architects and planners will be informed about the specific case study and applications for other projects.
