With over 2,000 staff and more than 8,000 students, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) plays a key role in shaping life at its campuses. It aims to be climate-neutral by 2040. To this end, the transition to low-emission and resource-efficient operations is crucial.

Climate-neutral by 2040

In line with the Canton of Lucerne’s climate strategy, the HSLU aims to become climate-neutral by 2040. Achieving a climate-neutral university is a shared responsibility and can only be achieved with everyone’s commitment. In addition to infrastructure measures such as the switch to renewable energy, it is also important to use resources mindfully in our day-to-day lives.
