Building a portfolio

The Centre for Learning, Teaching and Research offers advice and training programmes in the fields of university teaching and learning media. It also offers the services of experienced mentors.

Academic profile-building

Discussing projects with one’s peers is a key aspect of research. The HSLU offers financial support and generously allocates working hours for networking purposes.

Support for dissertations

The HSLU supports dissertation projects by providing advice around choice of topic, organising colloquia and—in certain instances—by offering financial compensation or approving time off.

Gaining practical experience

To gain practical experience outside the institution, employees may reduce their work hours or complete intermittent stints in the industry.

Internationality

The Swiss European Mobility Programme offers the opportunity to study or work abroad. It supports participation in international conferences and projects and offers a range of language courses in its language centre.
