What is artificial intelligence? How does machine learning work? Why is "good" data quality crucial? You start with an understandable introduction to the history, concepts and terms of modern AI.
AI Thinking & Ideation
How do I identify AI potential in my company? Which use cases are really worthwhile? You will get to know the "AI Thinking" mindset, which combines automation, creativity and business logic. In groups, you will work on realistic ideas and develop initial project concepts with real business value.
Infrastructure for AI
What infrastructure do I need for AI projects?
You will learn how to plan modern, secure and cost-efficient AI infrastructures, taking into account data protection (e.g. GDPR), performance and budget.
Large Language Models & RAG
What's behind tools like ChatGPT? How can I build my own AI chatbots?
You will learn how large language models work, where their strengths and limitations lie - and how you can use RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems to develop secure, personalized applications, e.g. knowledge bots for internal use.
Final projects & presentations
Group work: Together you develop your ideas into your own AI project, from the use case and database to the possible ROI. Optionally, you can use no-code tools such as KNIME or ChatGPT plugins to create an initial prototype. At the end, you present your solution to the other participants.
