Who is the pre-admission course designed for?
The pre-admission course is specifically designed for professionals who have completed a vocational apprenticeship and, after several years of work experience, are ready to take the next step and pursue a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science. It offers an ideal opportunity to prepare specifically for university studies while remaining active in the workforce.
Upon successful completion of the preparatory program, you will meet the requirements for admission to nearly all STEM programs at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Exceptions include the bachelor’s programs in Architecture and Interior Architecture, as well as the Architecture track within the Digital Construction program.
What are the benefits?
You continue to work full-time in your current profession or, if necessary, complete an internship in a relevant field. At the same time, with the support of experienced instructors, you’ll spend just one year preparing specifically for your bachelor’s degree program and acquiring the necessary skills in the relevant core subjects.
