Separation of Substances by Sorption From design to experiments in the laboratory

There are many applications of sorption for substance separation. One example is the separation of odorous substances in kitchen hoods. The Competence Center supports its partners and clients in the analysis of sorption processes and the measurement of relevant parameters of sorption materials.

Process and Systems Simulation

Due to its many years of experience in the field of modeling sorption processes, the Competence Center is able to model a wide variety of systems, such as those for material separation. Through design, modeling and simulation, an existing system can be optimized quickly and cost-effectively or a new system can be developed.

Anlage

Experimental Characterization of Sorption Processes

With the aid of its modern analytical equipment, such as the MixSorb L, the Competence Center can determine relevant parameters such as breakthrough curves or isotherms of a wide variety of substance combinations on behalf of clients or as part of research projects.

Anlage

Experimental Study in the Laboratory

With its extensive laboratory infrastructure and measurement equipment, the Competence Center can experimentally investigate a wide variety of systems in its large-area laboratory and thus extensively test new developments, for example.
