Pollutant Reduction of Combustion Processes From analysis to measures

Fine dust from combustion processes is harmful to health. The Competence Center examines the wood combustion systems of partners and clients for fine dust emissions, the formation mechanism behind them and develops measures to reduce fine dust emissions.

Process and Systems Simulation

With theoretical and experimental investigations, the Competence Center identifies the formation mechanism of fine dust emissions. The results of these investigations form the basis for the reduction of pollutants in combustion processes.

Experimental Studies

In order to detect fine dust emissions or to verify implemented measures to reduce pollutants, the Competence Center carries out emission measurements in the laboratory and at field facilities. In-house developed measurement systems and standardized data analysis procedures are used to ensure time and cost efficiency.
