Hightech Summit Bochum 2023 "Microtechnologies for a Smart World"

The IVAM Hightech Summit is a focal point in the year where companies from micro and nanotechnology come together to present the latest technologies and products as well as discuss developments for the future. 


We are on a path towards a "Smart World". Microtechnology is a key industry here and makes many developments possible in the first place.


As part of the IVAM Hightech Summit, the iHomeLab was host of the "Smart Home" session with four presentations. In addition, Prof. Dr. Andrew Paice and Prof. Dr. Patric Eberle, both iHomeLab, each gave a presentation in the sessions "Smart Industry" and "Smart Care".

Interesting lecture on the state of development of the smart home standard "Matter"

The "Smart Home" session was enriched by a presentation from Klaus Wächter, Global Standardisation Manager at Siemens Smart Infrastructure / Building Products. Klaus Wächter gave an overview of the developments and the current status of the new smart home standard "Matter".
