Public transport
The Horw campus is well served by public transport (rail or bus). Zentralbahn trains take between five and ten minutes to reach Horw from Lucerne railway station, after which it is a five- to ten-minute walk to the School. Alternatively, take the Horw bus (route 20) from Lucerne station and alight at Technikumstrasse (around 20 minutes).
Road
The campus is easy to reach from the Horw motorway exit. Just follow the signs for "Hochschule Luzern – Technik & Architektur". A limited number of visitor parking spaces is available, for which a charge is made.
Events
The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has rooms available for seminars, conferences, congresses, meetings, workshops and lectures. The premises available range from a meeting room seating 20 people to an auditorium accommodating almost 200 people.CanteenLunch and snacks are served at the canteen, which is open to students, teaching and administrative staff and visitors.
Site and opening hours
Occupying a campus at Horw, the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture is a center of education, training and research. Its premises are open to the public during tuition hours. A special timetable operates during public holidays, on days preceding holidays and at tuition-free times. During the semester, the premises are open Mon–Fri 07:00–21:30 and Sat 07:00–18:00.
