Both hands-on technical training and space for experimentation are offered
The Intaglio printing workshop is equipped with a total of three gravure printing presses. Formats up to approx. 75 cm x 130 cm can be printed. A toggle lever press, a FAG proofing press and two pulp presses are available for Relief printing. It is possible to produce polymer clichés. The FAG Alpha 104 and Rotaprint RT4 can be used to produce paper formats from A4 to 70 cm x 100 cm in offset printing. The aim is not to produce print runs, but rather to exploit the almost inexhaustible possibilities of printing processes for image creation. Experimentation is encouraged, as is a feel for materials and processes. In consultation with the workshop managers and after attending an introductory session, the workshop is open to all students, lecturers and assistants. Prerequisites for independent use are sound experience acquired during studies.
