Mission Statement

You bring an attitude, a cause, a voice. At K++V – Art & Education you will find the space to develop them – in a community built on exchange, responsibility, and artistic freedom.

We believe in as much freedom as possible within clear and binding structures. These structures reflect the reality of artistic and communicative professions and understand responsibility as part of freedom.

We form a learning community in which students, lecturers, and professors learn from, challenge and encourage each other. We do not see studying as a form of withdrawal, but as part of life – open, socially relevant, and networked.

We live what is self-evident in practice: a fluid transition between art and communication.
In formats such as plenary sessions, participation, guest professorships, or guest symposiums, students actively shape the program and take responsibility for content, procedures, and community.

Our feedback culture is essential and based on our code of conduct.

We reflect on roles, formulate criteria, and jointly develop our methods further.

K++V is student-driven and outgoing. We focus on socially relevant topics, current discourse, and practice outside the university – in exhibitions, festivals, film screenings, and discussions.In various formats – from positions to colloquia, working discussions, and the +++modules – we create space for critical reflection, artistic experimentation, and collective learning.
