At a Glance
This continuing education course offers an introduction to various research branches in the arts, design, film, and art & design education. Its aim is to guide participants from an initial research idea to the development and refinement of a concrete project outline. This includes clarifying personal research interests and motivations, embedding the project within an individual career perspective, positioning it within a research context, and formulating relevant research questions. The programme includes expert inputs and discussions, a significant amount of self-directed study, and opportunities for one-on-one mentoring.
Target Group
This SAS continuing education programme is intended for individuals with a Master’s degree who are interested in research in the fields of art, design, film, and art & design education. A preliminary research idea should already be in place.
Learning Objectives
- Basic understanding of different research areas in art, design, film, and art & design education
