Study Locations Your International Journey

• Madrid, Spain (1st & 2nd semester)

• Remote and worldwide (3rd & 4th semester)

• Lucerne, Switzerland (5th & 6th semester)

Imagine starting your studies in one of Europe’s most vibrant capitals. Madrid welcomes you with its buzzing energy, sunny climate, and rich mix of tradition and modern life. From strolling through the historic streets to enjoying tapas with classmates, life in Madrid is a study abroad experience to remember.

But Madrid is more than lifestyle. With the UN Tourism headquarters located here, our students benefit directly from industry leaders who contribute to teaching in the first two semesters, even face-to-face.

Why Madrid?

• Academic advantage: Live sessions with UN Tourism experts
• Cultural immersion: Explore world-class museums, learn the Spanish language, and experience authentic Iberian culture.
• Global connections: A cosmopolitan hub where you meet people and other students from all over the world.
• Quality of life: Mediterranean lifestyle, diverse cuisine, and endless opportunities for travel within Spain and beyond

Our HSLU campus in central Madrid is your gateway to both practice-oriented teaching and unforgettable cultural experiences.

After Madrid, flexibility is key. During the third and fourth semesters, you can choose where you want to live and study – whether back home, in Madrid, or anywhere else in the world. Our blended teaching format combines live online sessions, asynchronous components, and virtual teamwork, ensuring a connected learning community across borders.

Your fourth semester internship is a chance to gain real-world experience in tourism anywhere on the globe – whether it’s with a safari company in Africa, an NGO in Europe, or a hospitality brand in Asia. Accompanying online modules ensure you stay connected and deepen your learning while exploring your professional path.

Students with outstanding academic performance may choose an additional path: instead of the online semester, you can spend your third semester at one of our partner universities abroad:

2. Napier University – Edinburgh, Scotland
