Admission Bachelor in Hospitality Management (Top-Up)

A degree from the English programme of the Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern SHL is directly recognised and grants unconditional access to the Top-Up Bachelor in Hospitality Management.

Otherwise, the following admission criteria apply for the Bachelor's degree programme in Hospitality Management (Top-Up):

• Successful completion of a higher technical college in the hotel & catering industry in Switzerland or comparable international qualifications
• At least one year of practical professional experience in a relevant business environment. Internships can be recognised as professional experience for students with an HF Hotel Management degree.
• Proof of English language proficiency at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference, unless the applicant is a native speaker of English or has completed the higher technical college in English. The above-mentioned documents must be submitted by the end of January of the year in which the programme starts at the latest.
• The dossiers on previous education will be examined individually and, if necessary, an admissions interview will be conducted.
• The admission requirements for applicants from non-European countries vary depending on the country. Non-European applicants must be able to present a certificate of admission to a Bachelor's degree programme or an equivalent degree programme in business administration or economics from a recognised university in their country of origin.
