The Bachelor in Hospitality Management is a unique higher-education degree programme jointly developed and run by the SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern and the School of Business at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (UAS). The programme takes four years to complete and includes two paid internships. The full title is Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with a Major in General Management.
With its proven combination of practical and academic relevance, the programme strongly focuses on exceptionally high graduate employability. It does so by complementing the internationally renowned SHL training with a solid university-level upgrade in management, business and economics. The close combination of hotel management training and business administration is new, innovative, and specifically tailored to the needs and the potential of our target group: managers and entrepreneurs inside and outside the hospitality business.
