The Institute of Tourism and Mobility ITM conducts research in the areas of tourism, mobility and sustainability. It provides degree programmes for those wishing to embark on a career in the tourism sector as well as those moving into the field from other backgrounds. Additionally, ITM offers consultancy services for practising tourism professionals.

The Tourism Competence Centre develops scientific based knowledge on five aspects of modern tourism. The aspects serve as a solid foundation for decision making for those working in the field of tourism.

The Mobility Competence Centre investigates new technologies and megatrends in the field of mobility. Insights generated from projects are implemented into the advancement of the transport market in Switzerland.
