In 2016 the School of Design, Film and Art moved to Viscosi City in Emmen – for this traditional industrial quarter a new beginning, and for future designers and artists an opportunity to present their work in a social context.
We offer intensive individual mentoring supported by a first-class infrastructure at the Viscosistadt location, fully available to the students. Throughout the process ideas are made into novel surfaces, materials and objects which are in coaching sessions critically discussed and continuously developed further.
Our studios and workshops
The Lucerne School of Design, Film and Art offers diverse, modern facilities, including numerous workshops, laboratories and studios located at 745 Viscosistadt in Lucerne-Emmenbrücke. All of these are open to students during regular teaching hours and, by prior arrangement, also outside teaching hours.
