Lucerne and its surroundings are more than just a place to go study. Here, in the heart of Switzerland, students have a wide range of cultural events and leisure activities to choose from, and a beautiful scenery of mountains and lakes to enjoy. What is more, Lucerne is only a short trip away from other major Swiss cities including Zurich, Basel and Bern.

This classic beauty connects Lucern’s old and new town: the Kappelbrücke.
Long-standing subject of debate, the KKL Culture and Congress Centre with its protruding roof has become a highly renowned cultural centre.
Pigments, binding agents and image carriers - in the Studio for Colours of the Lucerne School of Art and Design, colour can be perceived with all senses.
The Horw campus of the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture is situated between Mount Pilatus and the lake.
A successful combination of timber and concrete: the Rotkreuz campus is home to the School of Computer Science and Information Technology and to the Institute of Financial Services Zug IFZ.
