Prof Uwe W. Schulz, PhD is a faculty member since 2009 at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, School of Engineering and Architecture in Switzerland,
serving
- since Sep. 2021 as Officer of International Relations
- focusing on inter-institutional agreements
- from 2011 til 2021 as Head of International Relations
- grew the partner network to over 80 institutions across the world
- launched in 2012, one-and-only Swiss Bachelor Engineering Degree Program taught entirely in English
- formation of strategic alliance comprising 6 Universities from Europe and USA
- Research project leader related to energy, climate, and sustainability
and
- during trimester 3 of 2019, visiting Professor at School of Business, University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia
invited guest lecturer on Innovation and Energy Systems at:

- Ph.D. at the University of Essen in Germany, based on the research performed in the USA on alternate working fluids for heat pumps

Prior to joining the University, worked in the industry during 25 years, as
- Executive Vice President for Airwell’s Residential Air Conditioning Business Unit, Head-quartered in Paris, France with P&L responsibility of factories incl. R&D groups in China, Israel, and Argentina
- Director Global Platform for Carrier’s Global Bus Business aligning Marketing, R&D, Production and Service world wide
- Director of Service Businesses and of Marketing & Business Development for Carrier’s Operations in Europe, Middle East & Africa
- Managing Director of a Swiss enterprise developing alternative means of comfort air conditioning
- Laboratory Manager and Project engineer in the USA, France, and Switzerland
