Advice and Support
The Grants office acts as information- and support platform. We maintain a regular exchange with HSLU researchers and clients from private industry in the region as well as national and international research funding agencies.
We are in close collaboration with other universities, their Grants Offices and external committees such as Siwssuniversities, Swisscore or Innovation Transfer Central Switzerland.

Biografy
He has studied mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart and subsequently obtained a doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) in the field of environmental technology and management (holistic balancing) with the thesis: "Influence of recycling processes on the environmental product balance" in 1997.
Head of an engineering office (1997-2000) and managing director of an SME in the field of acrylic glass processing (2000-2007).
Head of the Technology Transfer Unit at the School of Life Sciences FHNW (2007-2014) and subsequently Head of the Euresearch Office and Research Support Universtity of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (2014-2019).
He joined the HSLU Grants Office in July 2019
