Roman Blättler (*1992) gained the Swiss baccalaureate with focus on physics and applied mathematics at the academic high school in Schwyz in 2010. After military training school at the airforce support detachment and a five-month stay in Australia he started with his studies in mechanical engineering at ETH Zürich. Having changed to the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts Roman Blättler graduated in 2016 as a business engineer and in the following year as a mechanical engineer with specialization in renewable energy and process engineering. In his bachelor thesis he worked on the efficiency improvement of a drying process of aqueous polymer water dispersions. During his studies Roman Blättler completed a workshop training at RUAG Aviation in Stans NW and worked among others as a teacher for remedial education. Since 2018, he is part of the research group SORPTION and works as a scientific assistant.
