Sergio Tresch (*1990) completed his apprenticeship as a polymechanic at the company Durrer Spezialmaschinen. The company is specialized in development and construction of machines for the graphical industry. From the 4 years training he completed 3 years in mechanical manufacturing and 1 year in assembling.
After finishing his apprenticeship, he attended the Berufsmaturitätsschule in Zug. After this education he studied mechanical engineering at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He finished his bachelor thesis in the field of evaporative cooling. Based on a mathematical-physical simulation model, a concept was developed enabling high cooling capacities.
Since 2015 Sergio Tresch has been working as a research assistant at the Competence Center of Thermal Energy Systems and Process Engineering in the Sorption Research Group. Sergio Tresch worked on various research projects in the fields of drying, evaporative and adsorptive cooling.
Additionally, Sergio Tresch is Co-founder of Aureus Drive GmbH, which is active in the field of electromobility.
