Diego Hangartner (*1985) obtained 2004 his scientific high school degree in Lausanne. After that, he studied environmental engineering at ETH Zurich until 2007 und completed the Bachelor in 2008 after spending one semester at NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. He finished the Master in Energy Science and Technology at ETH Zurich in 2011. During that time, he absolved a six month internship at TEP Energy GmbH.
Diego Hangartner worked between 2011 and 2013 as a project manager at Amstein + Walthert AG in Oerlikon in the field of energy. Since 1st January, he works as a research associate at the Center for Integrated Building Technology (ZIG) in Horw, where he’s involved in several research and service projects. The main research topics are focusing on thermal networks.
Diego Hangartner grew up bilingual with French (C2) and German (C2) as mother tongue and has excellent skills in English (C1) and Italian (C1).
