Due to the results of the federal vote on February 9, 2014, the negotiations between Switzerland and the EU regarding the participation in the Erasmus+ programme have been suspended. To ensure the continuity of mobility activities with the Erasmus+ programme countries, the Swiss government decided to develop an interim solution for Erasmus+ supported by Swiss funding. The Interim Solution Erasmus+ for Higher Education is called Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP) and follows the precepts of Erasmus+.
This means that the Swiss government provides the funding for incoming and outgoing students (lecturers and staff) to pay maintenance grants. Also, exchange students don’t have to pay the tuition fee at the Hochschule Luzern – Musik. They keep paying the fee at their school.
Exchange programme for students and lecturers of the Lucerne School of Music («OUTGOINGS»)
Exchanges for students, lecturers and staff are organised by the Exchange Coordinators at the relevant School. Those interested in an exchange are responsible for informing themselves about the opportunities on offer and the registration deadlines of the partner institutions (e.g. via websites) They are also responsible for contacting teaching staff in the partner institutions, if necessary. However, when it comes to planning a specific exchange the Exchange Coordinator of the Lucerne School of Music must be consulted. Written information will be provided during the consultations.
