Entrance examinations for bachelor’s and master’s programmes take place every April/May. The dates may be found under Dates. Further information may be obtained from the secretariats of the various institutes.

CHF 390.- (for two practical examinations)

These admission fees are due (even in the case of non-appearance for the examination) upon admission to the entrance examination. Cancellation of registration is free of charge until 7 March.
Applying for admission to a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme
Applications are only possible online.
You may interrupt the data entry process at any time and resume it later without loss of data. You will not be able to change your information once you have finalised the process by clicking “Definite application”.
Following your definite application, we will appraise your dossier and get in touch with you via email or telephone.
Please note that there are special application forms for applicants currently enrolled in a degree programme at the Lucerne School of Music.
The application deadline for all Bachelor’s and Master's programmes is the end of February.
A Swiss resident permit is usually contingent on good German language skills. We therefore suggest you take a language test offered by the Swiss representation (e.g. embassy, consulate) in your country before taking your entrance examination.
