HSLU Concert Band Individuality and Groove

Each academic year, a lecturer of the Lucerne School of Music’s Institute of Jazz and Folk Music is given carte blanche to work with the HSLU Concert Band. The ensemble is made up of students and this year’s leader is bassist and lecturer Nils Wogram.

Trombonist and teacher Nils Wogram draws for the repertoire from the rich fund of his bands and tailors the compositions to the concert band.

Jazz tradition and other musical influences as well as composition and improvisation are brought into harmony.
