Founded in autumn 2009, the folk music ensemble comprises of students taking the Folk Music major.
The ensemble, which can perform in various formations and different sizes, doesn’t just cultivate a broad repertoire of alpine folk music but also tackles old as well as new genres bordering on classical music and jazz. The Alpinis ensemble is led by Andreas Gabriel.
A «Stubete» with students and other interested musicians takes place regularly at the Lucerne School of Music. Dates and details can be found in the agenda.
