Performance is an integral component of the studies; about 500 students studying Classical Music, Jazz, Folk Music or Church Music at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Artss contribute greatly to the cultural life of Central Switzerland. The research undertaken by the Lucerne School of Music also acts as an important stimulus to society.
