Further News

These days as the data volume doubles almost every two years, algorithms and the analysis of all this data become increasingly important. Complex algorithms are sometimes called the steam engines of the digital world, but only paired with a suitable business model they can become game changers in digital business or even creators of entirely new business opportunities.

In 2015 Garter coined the term Algorithmic Business to describe this next stage of digital business and to pay tribute to the latest groundbreaking developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, optimization and computer vision.

The ABIZ research team investigates this seminal blend of algorithms and business in order to support our industry partners in the development of business models and services based on complex algorithms as well as in the induced digital transformation.

Besides research and development the team offers consulting services, on-site training, auditing and coaching in the broad area of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics for digital business. This concerns algorithmic aspects such as business-specific recommender technologies, user profiling, matching algorithms, search query analysis, adwords bidding and automated customer segmentation for example, complemented with implementation aspects including software frameworks and architectures, database technologies, mobile and web development.
