Typically, students of the Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology spending a semester abroad at a partner university pay their tuition fees to the School. There are exceptions, which mainly occur outside of Europe. The International Office has details of the specific partner institutions. As a rule, students who are required to pay fees to the partner institution are generally excused their tuition fees to the Lucerne School of Information Technology.
Tuition fees for “free-mover” students
“Free-mover” students applying to a university of their choice are required to pay the tuition fees of that institution. They are typically excused from paying the tuition fees for the relevant semester to the Lucerne School of Information Technology.
GrantsStudents completing a semester abroad at a partner university in Europe may apply for a grant under the Swiss European Mobility Program (SEMP; replaces Erasmus). Additional or alternative funding is also possible.
