Technical training
Depending on professional experience, a customized technical training is required. It lasts four full-time weeks (160 hours) and is taken before the start of the first semester. Offered in the summer between mid-July to mid-August, students devote themselves to the areas of drawing technology, manual production including turning, welding technology and electrical engineering.

Monday, Juli 11th until Friday, August 5th, 2022 (4 weeks, Monday 1st is a public holiday).

The fees will be charged after the registration deadline. They are also due in case of cancellation after the deadline or unsuccessful completion by the participant and will not be refunded.
Internship – Working in a company
To reach 12 months of work experience in total, including the technical training, students may be required a proportional internship. Qualifying work covers experience and participation in a work process in areas such as manufacturing, assembly, product development, design, or product management, sales, or project management. The organization should be related to engineering, ideally operating in the energy or environmental field. The workplace can be anywhere in the world.
The student is to provide a description of the job tasks to the Head of the Bachelor’s Program for approval. At the end of the work experience, the student is to obtain an official «Certificate of Work» from the organization, which is to include a brief description of the activities as well as the working hours per week. The student is to provide this to the Senior Assistant.
