Art educates – in many different ways: in visual art classes at school, in art exhibitions and, increasingly, in other contexts as well. One such context might be the involvement of artists when analysing and communicating urgent socio-political challenges such as the climate crisis or communal coexistence. Art has the potential to act outside our established patterns of thinking, help us develop context-based solutions through experimentation and develop cross-references.
