In this talk, Tokushu Inamura reflects on practice and research in designing with All Beings.
The necessity of positive relational transformations for life on Earth has become increasingly apparent, accompanied by perceptible shifts in attention from the fringes to the spotlight. Across diverse fields of research and practice, more-than-human turns are gaining momentum. While dominant technocratic explorations continue to pursue the so-called “room at the bottom,” manifold lived and situated investigations are emerging in response.
We will discuss the broader societal design paradigms that underpin specific cases of designing with All Beings, including soil and rivers.
