The principle of a DD/AP is simple – you as the student get the chance to complete two complementary degrees, one with a partner institution. We at the Lucerne School of Business are committed to setting up pathways to these dual qualifications with excellent partner universities in other countries, so that you save time and money while enhancing your employability. The following dual degrees are at present available:
DD/AP Options at Postgraduate Level
MSc in Business Administration with a Major in Tourism:
If you are enrolled in our MSc in Business Administration with a Major in Tourism, you can apply for a DD/AP with Edinburgh Napier University: MSc in Festival and Event Management.
Furthermore, students of the MSc BA, Major in Tourism, can apply for a dual degree with the School of Hotel and Tourism Management of Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Again, they can choose between two MSc's: the MSc in International Wine Management and the MSc in Interntional Hospitaliy Management.
MSc in Business Administration with a Major in Business Development and Promotion:
Students of our MSc in Business Administration with a Major in Business Development and Promotion can also choose to apply for a DD/AP at Edinburgh Napier University. Napier offers its MSc Business Management as a complementary field of interest.
A very attractive possibility is also an MBA from a US university: Thanks to an agreement with the University of Baltimore, students majoring in BDP have the chance to study for an MBA. As this is an online-MBA, students can achieve both degrees while resident in Switzerland.
MSc in Banking and Finance:
If you are matriculated in our programme MSc in Banking and Finance we can also offer you to apply for a DD/AP at Edinburgh Napier University. You can choose from two programmes: MSc International Banking & Finance and MSc International Finance.
Additionally, students from our Banking and Finance programme can also apply to do a DD/AP in Hong Kong: the Lucerne School of Business has an agreement with Lingnan University. Under this agreement Banking and Finance students can do a second degree from Lingnan, namely a Master of Science in International Banking and Finance.
MSc in Real Estate
Our postgraduates enrolled in our MSc in Real Estate can also apply to go to Hong Kong. They can opt for a second degree as Master of Science in International Banking and Finance at Lingnan University. This second, complementary degree will increase their attractiveness on the global job market.

"The Dual Degree Programme between the Lucerne School of Business and Edinburgh Napier University is a fantastic possibility for Lucerne students – on an academic, cultural and personal level.
It is interesting to experience the difference between a university of applied sciences and a research-based university, such as Edinburgh Napier. Thanks to the wide selection of modules at Napier, students can choose what interests them most. Additionally, the challenges in terms of studying in English at an internationally oriented university are a guarantee for improvement of one’s English proficiency.
Edinburgh is a wonderful city with an attractive mixture of professional opportunities, culture, night-life, culinary delights and sports events. People from Edinburgh are cosmopolitan, progressive and always in a good mood. Not only Edinburgh is worth a journey, but also the rest of Scotland is scenically very impressive."

"Studying at a higher academic level, improving one's English proficiency, cultural exchange with students from all over the world and all of this in one of Europe's most charming cities - the Dual Degree Programme with Edinburgh Napier University offers all of this and a lot more.
The University convinces with its flexibility in regard to its module choice but also as regards the composition of one's timetable: students can put together their own programme. Besides teaching, Edinburgh Napier University offers a great variety of possibilities which support you in getting to know the city, its surroundings, the culture and the people. Furthermore, participants in the programme benefit from their daily use of the English language - in academic as well as every-day situations - and from their permanent contact with fellow students from around the world and their respective cultures.
The Scottish capital has not only won me over with its beautiful old town and its world-famous castle. Edinburgh also offers a fantastic night-life and numerous cultural and sports activities. Excursions to the impressive north of the country are also possible and certainly unforgettable."
