Intercultural Communication Training: Course for the Lucerne Police

The Luzerner Polizei is faced with increasing challenges in communicating with different cultures, especially from Southeastern Europe, North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa. This course takes a hands-on approach to rhetorical interventions and cultural background knowledge needed for police officers' daily work.

Dieser Kurs bietet eine Einführung in die interkulturelle Kommunikation mit dem Ziel, den Teilnehmenden einen Einblick in die Theorie zu vermitteln und ihnen Instrumente zur Interpretation und kultureller Einordnung vorhandener Erfahrungen zu bieten. Durch aktuelle Beispiele aus Wirtschaft und Politik versucht er, die grosse Vielfalt der Anwendungsmöglichkeiten interkultureller Ansätze zu verdeutlichen.
